Robinhood - Investing in stocks for beginners

Robinhood is the best user friendly stock investing app I've found, and is great for beginner and intermediate Investors looking to trade under 25k. I am not a financial advisor, and what I am going to write is my experience using this app.

With stock investing, the concept is to buy low and sell high for a profit. Now is one of the best times to start dipping your toes in the stock market. I would advise you start with an amount that you're willing to loose, or put a few bucks in every paycheck or every month, whenever you're able to. There is a option to have reoccurring payments based on a schedule you set up. You're able to buy partial shares of a single share such as buying 10$ of tesla or apple. There are many sites online that can help find potential candidates to purchase, or show which stocks are down the most, make sure you do your own research most importantly!!!

You can choose to invest short term or long term. Short-term have more potential for faster growth but also has more potential for loss. They also have higher tax rates. Long-term stocks are those held over a year, they can offer dividends for being invested. These are usually safer options, but usually have slower constant growth. These are also taxed at a lower rate. Make sure you do your research before you invest, put your money where you trust it. As a reminder, if you day trade(sell in the same day) you can only do it 3 times in a week unless you have over 25k in your account.

There are many other features on Robinhood, such as the ability of investing in cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Robinhood has instant deposits, which allows you to invest the money as soon as its deposited not having to wait the 3-4 days for it to be transferred. They also offer a gold membership for 5$ a month which I am subscribed to that, supplies articles from marketwatch on news, added buying power, bigger instant deposits and access to more centralized data and research. You can also alongside marginal investing, but that's very risky, would not recommend unless doing lots of research!! Overall, Robinhood is a great way to get started with stocks or cryptocurrency, would totally recommend
